Have you ever daydreaming that once a 2D painting will have a tangible depth?
I did it many times in my childhood, and it seems we are very close to experience that.
(i hope one day without any glasses or other apertures)
Since this blog is about the Z-depth channel and its usage in the domain of computer generated images (CGI).
I try to collect all of them.
So feel free to write to me or comment, if you have an interesting example or usage of it! I would be pleased to share these examples!
(even in the field of the traditional media, 3D animation, or cinema post-production, stereoscopy or new media, interactivity)
It has a long history in traditional CGI computing, but nowadays it has a promising future also in interactive media (with the help of a depth camera like kinect and asus xtion pro) in real-time.
So keep up digging deeper in this topic, but again, this post will be a sort one, sorry folks;( Still no time to spend on writing.)
